** Further down are Superstar settings - very little deviation as I believe they play a more "loose" game of hockey vs All Star - not much tweaking is needed **

I've only tested these in play now games.. I'm waiting on an updated roster before starting BeaGM. I use AUTO aim as I want my players to use their ratings. All Star seems a bit easy and Superstar seems a bit tough, so I put the CPU Difficulty Adjustment in the middle (3) to up the CPU AI on All Star. MAKE SURE to check and re-check your settings as at times they will change on their own. I've played about 25 games, but need much more time with the game. This is my base thus far and as things change, I'll update in BOLD.

Start off with All Star/Hardcore and adjust from there (game style will change to "custom" after you start making changes from the defaults)

9/19 - Upped CPU Faceoff Difficulty to 4 (change at your own risk, I typically win a good amount more than the CPU teams as in the screenshot below)

9/19 - Upped the concurrent penalties time to match the penalty time scaling - 2.

9/23 - Upped CPU Penalties and CPU Teammate penalties to (6) and (5), also upped fighting to full (2).

9/24 - Decreased CPU Pass Accuracy to 1 and CPU and Human Pass Reception Ease to 0, also Increased Goalie Cover Frequency to 4

9/24 - Increased CPU AI Teammates Penalty slider to MAX (6)

9/29 - Increased aggression to (4) for both Human and CPU, lowered hitting power for both Human and CPU to (0), lowered CPU penalties to (5)

9/30 - lowered Period Length to 6 minutes (I love the speed of the game at 2, but shots are too high and get higher the more penalties there are, raised CPU Penalties back to 6 (MAX) and upped Penalty Time Scaling and Concurrent Penalties time to (3).

10/1 - lowered hitting assistance to 0 and upped aggression to 5 for both CPU and Human.

10/4 - upped puck control for both CPU and Human +1 (3).

Superstar Settings (using for BeaGM)
These are the settings I'm going to use for my St. Louis Blues BeaGM mode. As I make changes, I'll update this post. The first post slider settings are for All Star difficulty (and I'm happy with that set... for those who want to try them, please do). I don't feel like Superstar needs much deviation from the defaults, so I'm really not looking to change much at all. I just feel like SS gives me a more competitive game vs the CPU, plus the game feels much more "loose" to me on SS.

Restore the sliders to default, then start with Superstar/Hardcore/Custom - this will put the sliders to their SS/Hardcore default settings, I'm only posting below the CHANGES that are made from DEFAULTS. If it's not listed below, it wasn't changed.

10/19 - upped Pass Assist +1 (3)
10/19 - upped CPU Penalties and CPU Teammate Penalties (6) MAX
10/22 - upped period length to 7 minutes
10/22 - upped attribute effects to 5 (default)
10/22 - turned game speed down -1 to (2)
10/24 - game speed back up +1 (3), Pass reception ease to 0 for both, Pass assist back to default (2)

Going to up the CPU Faceoff Difficulty because it's a little lopsided in my favor.. but a great game. The breakaways are wrong because they had 1 and I had 1.

I will give these a go this weekend. I don't like AlTitos and mine need serious work.

Not necessarily saying youre wrong, nut curious why you have the goalie sliders where you do. What have you seen? Most goalie slider sets are alot different than yours.

The reason I ask is Ive been using AlTitos and I like how they play overall. But, Ive found it hard to score goals. Some games Ive had 40-45 SOG's and only score, maybe 2 goals. And, Im hitting one timers, wrist shots in the slot, slap shots from the point with screens. Im trying everything.

I also dont want it to be too easy. Id rather they be like they are now, then posting 6-7 goal games all the time. But, it would be nice if every once in a while, you busted out for 5 goal game.

Im definitely in search of a better goalie slider combo, so looking for any opinions of people that have paid attention to it.

Remember.. I use AUTO AIM.. so it's more up to my player's ratings than it is me having to mess with aiming with the left stick.

There were too many goofy/easy goals, so I upped the goalie sliders just slightly - also, having the attributes slider at 3 might of had something to do with it.. this makes up for that and I've seen a great variety of goals.

Islanders take it to us.. last goal was an EN, but Elliott gave up all 3 goals and I pulled him for Jake Allen who gave us a chance.
