When I say 'out of box' I mean no patch updates. Which is not the tuners. We consider the tuners the gameplay setings of 1.00, 1.01, etc.

Were using 'out of box' patchs and tuner 1.01 (tuner 1.01 is latest).

Testing
Post whistle rules (relaxed or anything goes) to finetune overall speed

By the way. Amazing find with "Adjustments & finetuning options"! Who could imagine that when you for example change "post whistle rules" it will change speed also? You are right about Game Speed vs Overall speed. I always use GS at zero. In my opinion with acceleration you can have impact on players top speed too (not just acceleration).

I'm not sure why you keep thinking that there are tuners to choose from. EA has said every new tuner overwrites 1.00. Latest and 1.00 are the same thing. They are both what you are calling 1.01.

Re: Regulation Sliders for NHL16 (keep it simple)

Northman brought up something we used for nhl15 and it is better so were going with this.

New updates on first post
Pass acc on 5
Pass interceptions on 0

Its better on 0 for magnetic puck feel. The only thing in nhl15 was sometimes you couldn't collect the puck on the boards, maybe they fixed that/or its better, then you can use the interception at 0 for the better.

It also makes the gameplay more loose like/on ice feel. Other sliders that do this are, puck control on a higher setting or when you have goalie screen on a higher setting. Also using relaxed (anything goes is too much/too easy to score) for post whistle rules frees up the realistic in it.

Mickey found this as well when he came up with using arcade (I used simulation) but both were more loose/on ice feel, the only problem was you could score too easy and there was some dumb stuff but the gameplay felt better then anyother setting.

Going back to standard attributes at 6 like we did in 2015 and a few others tweaks.

Re: Regulation Sliders for NHL16 (keep it simple)

Sorry guys, offline season gamer here, an older geezer who gets a bit muddled. lol

Are you saying that selecting say "RELAXED" in the "after whistle" slider, makes the games speed different?
I am seeking a more realsitic slower/grittier game, so what should i select?

This has been a very interesting read ?

Guys, your really helping to save this game
Could you explain a little more in the post about the changes in the attributes?
I am trying to gain a really gritty, realistic game with choppy passing (trying to reduce CPU Passing %) and more tighter games.....Im getting close, but stuck on....
PASSING SLIDERS?
PUCK CONTROL?
PASS INTERCEPTIONS?
(Im reading conflicting views on lower/higher values being better?)

Any help/Tips?...Feel were getting close!!
