Re: Cycloniac's TrueSim NHL 19 Sliders

Does anyone play as any team other than an NHL team? It’s a different feeling playing on an international ice surface in one of the multiple European leagues. Also, I use to play as my AHL affiliate during franchise mode in NHL 18, but this year it feels as if the way the game is tuned, it’s more difficult to get the same gameplay with these teams vice NHL caliber clubs. Anyone feel the same way about that?

I tried using these sliders last night and it was terrible. Passes were slow, pucks glance of the sticks, and no one could take the puck cleanly. It seems that these sliders (as well as the others in this forum) are based on NHL teams. I'm playing in Season Mode with the Newfoundland Growlers of the ECHL. Everyone who posted said good things about your sliders obviously haven't played with the little guys.

IMO, only EA Sports knows exactly which slider does what, and that their presets (Full Sim) are what they recommend. I can't find any slider sets that adapt to ANY team in NHL 19, even the CHL.

BTW, I play on All-Star, with 10 minute periods.

If you're playing in a non-NHL league, I would try lowering attribute effects to 5.

Cyclo...These are great sliders. I almost gave up on this game this year until I plugged in your sliders. Just wish I had the time to input in your player / roster edits. Thanks!

Just to be clear - these sliders can be used in off-line franchise play, BUT not just for watching cpu vs cpu games?

That is correct. If you're playing versus the CPU, use the same values for the USER as the CPU and adjust them based on your skill level.
