Yes thank you. I upped the goalie sliders from 90 to :100, and found a nice spot for me. Thanks for sharing these with us. Game is a blast to play!

Which game style preset did you make these from, Competitive or Full Sim? I would like to try these out but want to make sure I have it set up right.

Re: NHL22 'Abyss sliders' - The gap between Pro and All Star

I think this slider set has the most potential out of all of them, simply because the default Pro set already gives you the most realistic hockey flow. Just have to inject some steroids into the CPU Goalie sliders, decrease HUM shot accuracy, and tinker around with the speed, and I think that this will be the best slider set for me.

I couldn't play hockey on the All-Star/Superstar slider sets, no matter how hard I tried to force myself to like them. It was just a clunker fest around the net, and 90% of my goals were just mashing buttons until I got a cheese rebound. There were hardly any snipes, crisp passes for one timers, dangles around dmen, and I never saw one break away (for me) because the CPU suddenly got super sayan speed to catch up to me.

Just playing two games on default Pro, I was able to run an offense in the offensive zone without feeling like the CPU became the juggernaut all of a sudden. I also had two legit break aways on perfect saucer passes, and the CPU didn't all of a sudden become Connor McDavid and run me down from behind.

Quick analysis I raised both hu/cpu goalies reaction to 60 and and made all other goalies sliders equal to human for cpu as I was getting to many high scoring games in the playoff mode and berserker goals . Your high penalty sliders forces me to play wisely and not just aggressively and at the end of the day I feel I can win or lose fairly and that's all I can ask. The stats are also balanced and I'm playing on pro for a more relaxed game play , great job !

You have to ignore passing % or you’ll want to rip your hair out trying to fix them.

So glad I found this, I'm stuck between levels and cannot adapt to All Star laser passing and super strength when hitting.

Look forward to trying later.

Re: NHL22 'Abyss sliders' - The gap between Pro and All Star

I know I will need to play a few more games to really get a feel for these, but here are some early impressions based on my first game:

I like longer periods, so I turned the game speed down to 1, and these still played well on 10 minute periods. Shots were 34 (User) - 33 (CPU) which is much better than the ~25 (User) - 50+ (CPU) figures I was getting on All-Star.
Maybe I will need to turn penalties down a bit with longer periods as the CPU took 7 penalties. I only converted on 1 power play, which is also kind of refreshing as I am usually in the 25-30% territory in my franchises. I only took 2 penalties, which I think is likely just an aberration cuz I am a pretty undisciplined player lol, so I am sure more will come as I play more games.

Only thing out of whack a bit was the Time on Attack like others have mentioned as I more than doubled the CPU at 11 minutes to their 5. Maybe having the CPU difficulty adjustment to 6 will eventually bring this down? If not any suggestions to tune that a little bit? It sort of seems like while the shots were equal I was able to win most loose pucks to either keep possession or get it out of my zone almost every time.

Any way these are a solid set. Definitely beats getting eternally frustrated on All-Star

Final sliders in the opening post. Some minor alterations to goalie sliders.
