Editing rosters is a necessity for NHL 16

Im editing a roster for NBA2K. Im adjusting tendencies, attributes etc. My goal is get the best players to play as themselves, so the user feels the difference between good players and great players.

This is not the case with NHL. PLayers and teams feel too alike. Every team is rated between 86 and 90.

This would not be too much of an obstacle if rosters could be edited. But they cannot. Why? Who knows.

But NHL 16 absolutely needs to allow users to create custom rosters.

It's a necessity for NHL15 and the fact that it hasn't been patched in still is beyond absurd. This is part of what leads me to think they're slowly going to stop caring about much of anything besides HUT.

I couldn't agree more, it's simply ridiculous that player editing has not been patched in yet, and even more frustrating that the Dev team has not addressed the community. An update with some sort of time table would be nice!!! Is that asking too much after releasing such a bare-boned/ featureless game? The entire player rating system needs to be revamped much like NBA 2k did this year, but I guess that is a separate issue for a different forum......

Honestly, i almost wonder if it would be better for them to offer a 50% discount for people who purchased NHL15 to use when they purchase NHL16, and say that they are focusing most of their efforts on 16. They've burned a lot of bridges, and hopefully they work to fix them.

I don't know the ins and outs of editing and all of that so maybe someone could explain. Since editing was in the game previously at least the last gen games isn't this something they would have had to have taken out rather than include?
