I can live with a lot of the issues it has, but this is one that I know will plague this series until I'm dead and buried.
If I could actually notice when a dangler like Kane is on the ice, or a plug like Dustin Brown, or a sniper like Stamkos or Ovie, and especially if I could recognize a shutdown D like Orpik from an offensive dman like Karlsson, I'd be ecstatic.

My biggest gripe with this series - and has been for a long, LONG time - is that if you took away numbers and names on the ice, you would have absolutely NO idea who was out there.
It's like Blades of Steel. Everyone is the exact same. Every team is the exact same.

It's sad that a nearly 30-year old game has superior player and team separation compared to NHL15:

Happens in all sports games. They all feel teh same and that's why I don't like playing them.

Yep, kinda spooky no gameplay shown. Not exactly a way of showing a lot of confidence, imo. I believe there's almost always a reason for what they do and don't show. Last year kinda proved that. Just show me a guy get stood up in the NZ and i'll be thrilled.

Pretty cool that Rammer commented on what I posted on twitter...he said they've shown gameplay on snapchat..

Guess we just have to wait for gameplay whenever they eventually show it on their website etc

You must not play NBA 2K or MLB The Show. If you don't like playing sports games, why are you posting here?

While it is disappointing to not see gameplay, the impressions from those that have played the game at E3 point to NHL 16 being a nice step up from last year's game. There's still plenty of time to release footage and for us to make a purchase decison, so I am not going to write the game off just yet.

I play both, and both games it's mostly the same stuff, over and over again. I play them for a week or two and then get very bored of them.

All I want is realistic board play, realistic goaltending, more player separation and editing/sharing rosters for GM mode.
