Maybe it's not far enough along to show it without hurting themselves? It's better to not show footage than show a bunch of awful-looking footage that people will be criticizing for months (and sets the public perception of the game).

Ok! if that's only they discussed, good thing I did not see the game cause it would really disappoint me more.

Most people are clamoring for player edit because (1) their rosters sucks big time (2) not much differentiation in style, speed etc. And they did not Discuss this further? That would lead me to suspect that they did not touch this, in any way, shape or form.

With the poor sales last year, at least they should have show Player vs Player or Player vs CPU (higher modes or all modes) playing the actual game. Its all about HUT for EA and that tells me alot, NO NHL again for 3 years for me. Glad Eastside Hockey Management is here to satisfy for awhile.

people's perception is set either way, that's what E3 is for

and by not showing your game during your interview, well... now that speaks volumes of how they "really" feel. if it were off-the-hook they'd be proud of it and show it off. it's not, and they didn't.

The lack of information from E3 prompted me to buy 3 different games.

I hope other Canadians taking advantage of that deal do the same.
I want it to hurt EA where it really matters to them. Maybe it'll push them to actually release some gameplay vids at next years E3 expo.
I'm not even sure why they send their NHL team there year after year.
A Skype session would suffice.
