October 19th Tuner Update

Just played another few games but this time I went with All Star / Simulation. I found the gameplay to be great. Sometimes I find Hardcore to not know what to do with itself.

Played 2 amazing games. I didn't feel anything cheap from the AI. The puck was loose and lively. Gonna play a few more later on but I feel that I am now comfortable with that I can start my season.

Here is the end of game stats. Almost even. Can't beat that. ANd the game winning goal. SOme nice cycling after a good keep in set up the winner.

Did any of their tuner updates address the lack of goal totals and stats in Be a GM?

Really awesome hearing them talk about Tarasenko's goals, and Elliott's saves...only to show goose eggs in all stat categories.

We see a diff between 1.00 and latest because of this. Which means there are 2 Tuners (1.00 and 1.01)(1.01 is latest).

You might have to delete everything and use 'out of box' Patch but there are 2 Tuners, 1.00 and 1.01

You can, just turn firewall on router to high and it will block the psn from connecting. That way you do not get any Patch (or Tuner if you prefer) updates and have the 'out of box' Patch.


You should get the roster first, then do this by deleting everything on ps4 main page then reinstall the game again.

There is no 1.01 tuner. EA did not release a second tuner they continue to write over tuner 1.00. Every time EA releases a tuner it is a tweaked version of 1.00 and replaces your old 1.00. Latest and 1.00 are the same. We only have a choice of out of the box 1.00 or the current iteration of 1.00......until they overwrite it again. Wish they would give us choices but they don't. I have the game playing fairly well and will not download the next tuner unless I hear rave reviews

All-star is the only way to play this game.
Superstar is all CPU speed boost and goals right after you score.

I found the key to the games I played was choosing Simulation instead of Hardcore. To me SImulation played better. Puck felt loose and the AI didn't feel cheap. I had to earn my chances though. It was a great few games
