IVe been saying for quite some time now. Offline is dead. They simply don’t care because they cannot make anymore money once they sell the game.
It’s all about online and making money in HUT. It’s why there is no player differential at all. They want everyone to have an even team and hope that people buy packs looking to get that 99 player only to find out his 99 speed is no faster than the 85 card with 82 speed. The poke spammers will cry and the penalties will get nerfed.
So once again EA will release a gane that offline plays just like the last 4 releases with little to no improvements. Will still have the same bugs and glitches...Still no roster share I’m sure. Last year we got 3s and mascot creator this year we got 1s and snazzy toques to wear.....unreal and embarrassing that this game is the only representation for the NHL.....

Played for about an hour. I like the new animations and skating. However, playing against all humans is just poke check and massive hits city because everyone just wants to run and gun.

I will echo that I am strictly an offline player so, I don't really care what 3's and hut stuff they put in. As jake said, offline is dead. No extra money to be had = no spiffy new things.

I'll wait for EA Access as I'm an offline player as well and we all know sliders will need much tweaking. I don't think we will ever get true player separation, but if you max the attribute effects slider you'll get as close to player separation as possible.

IMO you will have a blast with this game via our tweaking.

Again IMO, if anyone says this game “feels” the same as years past skating they are wrong.

Skating does actually feel different, weighted, animations etc.

Now with all the traits and such I feel like we will be back to EASHL NHL 14 days etc with passing, shooting, and even dangling.

I like having control of height and weight bc I can make a few player builds around the same with the same height and weight. My two way, playmaker, and sniper at 6’0 186. Then the skating basically feels the same between each build.

I’m also not a fan of using forwards on d and vise versa.

It just stinks we have to pay $60 for a newer skating engine.

One thing that caught my attention from a Gamechanger was this:

Something I hated was cycling the puck in the offensive zone and have it taken away by the CPU because the way my players would receive the puck and not able to turn. Would be great if this has been fixed.

It's noticeable with cycling. Myself and my eashl buds could tell a difference with being able to move easier with the passing etc in the zone.

Played a couple games last nite.
Game is really good in my opinion.
Sucks they arent really improving franchise tho.

I like ones.
And 5 on 5 game was good.
Hope they have roster share.

Def the best game by ea by far.
