Now that it's in the vault, I'd say no! In all honesty though, I've had a blast with NHL 20. Seems worth it at a sale or via the vault.

If you want it, buy it used from private.

To be honest, no. This is the first game I've bought since NHL 16 and with the exception of a slightly improved presentation, this game blows. EA continues to punt the series from one year to the next and it shows. With the increased focus on UT, the overall gameplay suffers. No players feel elite. Fast skaters move like they're in mud. The control scheme is complex and not user friendly. It's a mess.

I disagree with previous, as a casual fan, I downloaded 20 from ea access, just playing default pro sim 5 min halves, and games have been a blast and variety. I tried the same on previous, and no bueno. This is just in franchise. Sometimes being a casual fan makes it easier to play sports games and not keep chasing sliders and the perfect sim game. IMO

PSN: TheGritsBlitz

Current Franchises:
Madden 20 - Falcons 2005
Madden 20 - Online Dolphins
PES 2020 - Orlando City
The Show 20 - Braves 88

I think this pretty much sums it up. They're more enjoyable if you take them for what they are and not expect the game to last for so long.

I've played nearly every version of this game....from SEGA to PC to today's consoles. It's not bad, actually it's better than most so if you see it somewhere for $20, grab it. At that price point, you won't be sorry.
