I know we shouldnt expect a 100 percent realistic stamina engine, but there needs to be sim.stamina mode, where if your fighter's stamina rating is average, and he throws 200 punches a round, by the third round hhe should be fully gassed.

If they wont have this stamina engine at least have fighters' punch tendencies/frequency and an eeditable stamina/ chin rating, so mma simheads can be satisfied offline.

Staminas, chins, punch frequencies will be halved initially and edit from there:

1) cpu fighters wont throw too much if their style says so.

2) the active fighter with high stamina will still fight aggressively

3) PUNCHES count to award the cerebral fighters user or cpu....

give us tools to edit stamina rating, chin rating and fighter punch frequency, and there is a damn good chance this game will satisfy players looking to fight like aholbert against a cpu machida.

Who said this was a "MMA Simulation". Its a video game. I agree with alot of the things you say but I also realize that I'm not the target audience for this game. EA doesnt do simulation modes so that will likely not happen.

i know this isnt a sim, no video game can be a true sports sim, but there has to be some.sim.aspects in the game to.make.it worthwhile for a lot of people in OS.

if you're playing against the cpu, for example, you are fighting a cpu aldo ( questionable stamina). he proceeds to throw 250 strikes a round) and doesn't gas out....I just cannot enjoy a game like this. Im not saying it cant happen....it shoud be like this maybe if ure fighting nick diaz.

there needs to be variety so fighting a machida, nick.diaz and jose.aldo will feel like completely different experiences. I dont wany to fight roided up punching robots....

I'm not seeing the stamina issues you are seeing though. In the Pettis/Aldo clip, Pettis clearly gasses toward the end of the round. In the Hendo/Cormier clip, you see Hendo's punches significantly become slower when the user throws a ton of punches. Even in the clip with a bunch of fights in it, you see fighters stamina drop significantly when throwing multiple punches.

I just dont think we have enough evidence to go off of that stamina will be a problem.

It took me a couple of times to watch the video clip because I wasn't impressed. For me it's a 50/50 deal because half of me says there are so much to fix and the other half says that this could be a good game. I don't want to hype the game up too much even though I'm excited for it and have an opportunity to be the greatest fighter ever with Bruce Lee. We'll find out in June..

According to the previews the stamina system seems like it works well.

Also we will see about CPU aggressiveness but as long as the fighters fight in their style, and guys like Machida and Silva are mostly counter-punching the game will be enjoyable.

About what I thought. A pretty, arcadey fight game from EA.

The graphics are very nice!

The animations are smooth enough, but I'm left guessing how good the footwork is. I only see the step-step movement from Fight Night. Can you rush someone when they're hurt? Can you skip around the ring to avoid an aggresive fighter?

The recovery from those 2 big shots was too quick for my taste. Dude flipped on his back and went into guard like he didn't just eat 2 heavy clubs.

Can anyone confirm stamina/chin sliders?

Can anyone confirm if the HUDs can be turned off or not?

Can anyone confirm a broadcast cam that doesn't swing with fighter movement?

Is there video of the submission interface? That's my biggest concern. I'm almost positive it will stop me from purchasing this game. I can't stand meters, HUDs... anything I have to look at other than me and my opponent. Very distracting.

I don't get why games still use these types of interfaces with graphics as good as they are. Why not rely on player models for signs of fatigue & damage?

Really disappointed in the overall movement, especially the feet movement. So choppy and robotic. No excuses for that on these systems now.
