Interesting. I did the same test, but just by eye. I'll do some testing later as well. Hoping GPD chimes in as well, and if reading this.....PLEASE make the rubber guard and triangle choke transitions slower...PLEASE.

Rubber guard yes! but triangle choke HELL NO!!!!!

It is already too easy to deny and if you slow that down then it's gunna be a waste. This i do not agree on!!!

I wish you didn't have to switch to an armbar to be effective.

The triangle being 5 friggin gates is super lame.

Arm Triangle from Half Guard is my favorite submission in the game.

There is no risk of giving up position with that move. Depending on which gate they escape from, you either -Stay in Half Guard, -End up in their Full Guard, -Or even get a pass to Side Control.

I think 5 gates evens out the fact it's a no risk submission.

I honestly get people with that allll the time.

Ok, did some further testing. Regarding the transition switch from Omoplata to Rubber Guard, and the transition switch from Single Leg to Sprawl: The meter appears to fill up quicker upon the switch vs just going for the second move straight out of the gate. It's not much, but it's like it's trying to make up the lost time difference from the slower move you started with. In other words folks, if you have an Omoplata from guard bottom, do the switch every time, because your Rubber Guard is now faster...god help us all. I'm sure Generate James will have some frame rates for us. I can't imagine it being much.
