Re: EA UFC 3 wishlist thread

You do realize that Kevin Lee got KO'd silly by the one dude who's name I didn't know till now (after googling for this comment) in the UFC? Leonardo Santos is the guy that we unfortunately got in DLC after he knocked him out. The one thing I know about him is that he's a jiu jitsu specialist who has no striking finishes other than that, and another KO in 2008..

And he knocked Kevin Lee out with a jab if I remember correctly, a sloppy one.

I'm not a ***** though if I sound like one, I just remember that loss very well because I was rooting for him so much and was hoping he climbs up to the top and maybe get into the game some day (which now he will for sure), but man he really bummed me out in that loss to Leonardo Santos, especially because I was hoping Santos loses, it messed up my night, but then Faber, Holloway, Gunnar/Maia, Romero, Rockhold and of course Conor KOing Aldo in 10 seconds redeemed it for me, but still Kevin Lee bummed me out hard at the beginning of the night so I guess it's still hard for me to believe in him after that sloppy show of striking (which since then made him go for more takedowns because I think he lost belief in his chin)

I'm sorry Dave, but Tony Ferguson will finish him via w/e da fook he wants

UFC 217 is gonna be a crazy night, so many insane fights

I think Tony's unorthodox and craftiness will get the job done. Plus the guy can get hit by a truck and still fight.

Re: EA UFC 3 wishlist thread

I'm unsure of what changes were made to EA UFC 3's career mode, but I'm hoping it has more to it. As of right now there isn't much to it. EA MMA and UFC Undisputed 3 have more detail. I never understood why in EA UFC 2 only allowed you one Fighter to choose from for your next title fight. We should be able to choose quite a few different opponents that give us different levels of popularity boost, xp or anything we could earn to help progress our CAF. Not only that different opponents could vary from being an undercard fight, a fill in fight, main event, co main event, debut fight for opponent, title fight, weight class above fight, weight class below fight. This would liven up the career mode.

In EA MMA & Fight Night Champion I liked how I was able to train at different locations for fights. In EA UFC 2 we only train at one gym. In EA MMA we also had the ability to free spar which gave us the option to spar for an infinite amount of time or for a set amount of time for a set amount of rounds with the ability to set the spar partner behavior to a certain fighting style. And if we didn't want to spar we could practice on the heavy bag. Doing either of those cost none of your time for your camp sessions. In UFC Undisputed 3 the spar partners would fight you with the AI/ gameplan your opponent will use on you. Which IMO is a smart move to prepare you for your fight.

Presentation wise if you added more training venues you guys could do alot to step up training for career mode.
I would love to see my CAF in boxing gear with gloves on and head gear in a boxing ring. I would love to have a training game to hit the mits with combos, as my trainer has on the proper gear as well. It would look good to be able to see my CAF in kickboxing gear with shin guards for some of the spar.
If we were on some Matt's doing BJJ how authentic it would look if we were in gi's while grappling. And based on our stats or sub levels effected what belt our CAF had which could visibly be seen on our CAF during BJJ sessions.
Small things like seeing our fight history and our opponents fight history would be helpful as well, that and a side by side fight comparison to compare records, stats, attributes and perks.

Legacy mode on Fight Night may not of been the most detailed career mode but what we had access to on it was good. The fight match up setting on there was good. The way people retired and new people would rise up the ranks was a good way to stop fights being too repetitive with only the same people. We had access to import in other fighters as well such as DLC or CAB/ CAF. If we didn't want someone to be in that roster or not we had control of it. We need such accessibility for EA UFC 3.There's a numerous amount of things that could be done to make the career mode a little more exciting without so many limitations as we have now in EA UFC 2.

Re: EA UFC 3 wishlist thread

Also I want to say EA UFC 3 needs to have a better presentation for champion vs champion or super fights in career mode as well. EA MMA actually did a better Job on Champion vs Champion fights from just a regular exhibition match. As of lately we have been seeing more interim titles happening due to various reasons such as injuries, other super fights. So I would say it wouldn't be bad to incorporate interim title fights in the career mode as well.

It's not that big of a deal but it would make the career mode and live event mode feel more UFC like if it had the presentation like it is on PPV's
with the music and all. UFC Undisputed 3 nailed that kind of presentation in their game as seen in this video.

https://youtu.be/_VdpZF7QYBs

Seeing the video reminded me also how UFC Undisputed used to have a fighter strength feature for online fights.

Which would describe our style saying things like has
- World-Class Ground Game
- Excellent Takedown Defense
- Excellent Striking Ability

Or
-Well Versed In Submissions
- Excellent Clinch Game
- Good Striking

Or
- On A 20 Fight Win Streak
- Excellent Foot Work
- World Class Grappling

Or
-Pushes The Pace
- Has Heart
-Well Versed In The Clinch.

UFC Undisputed had some mechanics that tracked our stats for both ranked and player matches because both game modes had its own separate description of how it labeled our fighter strengths. I liked this feature because it was shown in the fighter select lobby before the match began. Which gave both fighters a slight idea what they are up against.

EA UFC 2 won't allow you to be in the lobby for ranked so such a stat could be displayed for rank in EA UFC 3 during Bruce buffers announcements.

Re: EA UFC 3 wishlist thread

1 a better tutorial mode where you can choose your training (sub sitting, for example). Fix the oversight where you can't put the computer against the cage in the skill drill... or put your own back against the cage.

2 get rid of beginning intros... those can take minutes... if someone is not ready they should not accept the fight.
