Just curious, the ammount of money a Dev gets paid working for a big publisher like EA, is it linked at all with how well the game was received/sold? Do you get any bonus if the game ends up pleasing the publisher etc.?

Is your salary affected on the next installment if you are working on a series or will it just naturally increase like most other jobs?

Salary is not tied to the game's performance for the majority of the developers. It's tied to individual performance. Someone can do a great job on a game that does poorly and get promoted, and someone can do poorly on a game that does well and see no merit increase.

There is a bonus structure. A percentage is determined by company performance, studio performance, team performance and individual performance.
