It seems that you cant create a fighter in ut. Does anyone know where to do this? Help is much appreciated

So yeah, I'm playing now. I'm awful so far, but had over 1000 fights on UFC 2.

I can't be too sure, but it seems you can't clinch in the BETA... the control for it is the same (Flick right stick), but doesn't seem to do anything.

Quite slow and hard to get used to so far.

One thing I don't like about the new knockdown system and I believe it's been mentioned in the gameplay thread, is that when you drop an opponent and the active knockdown animation begins, they look extremely vulnerable but afaik there's no way to follow up.

I'm not sure if it's too late in the game's development but I think there needs to be some way to either scramble on top of them (while still allowing the dropped player to transition or attempt to get up) or allow the offensive fighter capitalize and swarm them. I think it's a bit of a major hole in the game imo.

Press up or down on the right stick and L2 to attempt the clinch

Loving it so far! Learning curve forsure. Ground game doesn't vibrate when transitioning though.

Good Lord I'm gonna have to learn the controls. Hopped right on the highest difficulty and I'm getting pieced the **** up lol. Just got finished by Alvarez when he caught my body kick and returned with a haymaker. Oh yeah, time to hit the lab.
