I've changed two values from the default gameplay. Results aren't too shabby so far:

Attack Awareness = 3

So Matt what attributes/tactic sliders are you using now?

I know before you had changed those three tactic sliders to max, which I have been using. Have you changed anything since then? I'm just trying to make this game play out as real to life as possible. I'm only on XBOX so I don't have the option of mass editing or mods but I'm waiting for Daymos' V3 option file to come out so I can edit the sliders or player attributes so I can start my Master League. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

bwiggy, you could get away with just changing those two values (above) and you'll have an incredible game.

Since you're on console, that is what I would recommend, until there is a global editor released -which I have no idea anyone is working on for the consoles.

I have worked with nenadmc on here, he is incredibly strong in his knowledge of global editing also - and we've been using his option file. it's incredible and he has a lot of documentation.

Within this thread and evo web, I plan on making a new video that is going to compare default gameplay, global edit tactic gameplay, 2 value edited gameplay and then the entire put together plus more. There are sooooo many things that can be done, and it's not like FIFA 13 where no matter what you do - the players animations are still super fast, and the CPU seems to have the agility of elastic man.

I'm waiting for compared videos too.
I'm planning something big about custom tactics.
My idea is : I want every team has its custom tactics in the game. It will be an hard job but I want to put all my knowledge into the game.
I edited database for PES in 2011 in the italian community with amazing results but then I was disappointed by 2012. Now we have again a decent game.

I like the idea, and I think a lot of patch editors (PES EDIT, etc) are trying to go for that even more. It's a matter of finding the balance of editing player values versus editing global tactics. The thing about global tactics that they do not "stick" in Football Life modes. I am still testing some values to verify this though.
