2 clips I'd like to share

In this first one, look at the positioning of the defenders when the attacker receives the ball in the box. Why are they pushed that far back? This is why low crosses and backheels are so damn effective. The defenders just back off from attackers in the area.
And then after receiving the ball on the box with acres of space he, of course, passes it.

I started noticing this animation last night but this was the worst example of it happening. I put the camera of the right back. Watch as he goes into an animation and jogs up field as the ball is played into left winger. We didn't score on this possession but we got a quality chance and frankly I'd be livid had it happened to me.

Both are big issues for me too. The more I play, the more I'm seeing issues with the AI.
I think that's true but regardless I'll see my striker wide open on the penalty spot with the CBs sitting deeper due to their tactical instructions and that makes no sense whatsoever - a backline should never be sitting deep in their own six yard box!
This has been one of my biggest issues with PES for years now - tactical and formation instructions will take precedent over common sense contextual football decisions.
It's just a very rudimentary AI system unfortunately.
