The answer to the downgraded graphics i just cant wrap my head around. If they truly are next gen they would have to be monumentaly better than whats been shown. The shorts in that trailer look lije PS2 days.* If im taking them at their word from this article and they truly are better , I gotta ask. Whos decision was it to show what they showed? It just doesnt make sense. What they showed is bad. They had to have known PES fans would be jumping off bridges after that trailer.

For me, they still haven't cleared anything up. They are still being super vague about everything. And just doubling down on things they've already said without actually clarifying anything. More info to follow.

How is nothing ready for this game. The IRL season will have started and then maybe sometime between the end of August and December maybe there will be something other than a glorified demo that took 2 years to make.

Have been thinking the same thing. Nearly two years in, the game is going to be released piecemeal, and they don't really have s**t to show(?). What the h**l have they been doing(?). This was my most anticipated next gen game until the "reveal". Hope it turns out way better than anticipated, but it's doubtful.

Yeah I really want to know who the hell OK'd THAT trailer. It did way more to hurt the impression of the game than it did help.

Yeah I think they're walking the thin line now of trying or wanting to say more but balancing it against "we don't want to promise anything because we might not be able to pull it off".

Yeah that part to me is crazy, BUT (and I'm not making excuses here for Konami) but I wonder if they lost development time due to COVID. EA said during one of their dev insights this year that they lost time in their 11v11 motion capture due to it. But on the flipside they said this move was in their mind 3 years ago. New engine + New Console(s) was probably already too much for Konami to bite off but now they've doubled-down on it by trying full-out crossplay??????

I think ESBC Boxing has surpassed PES as my most anticipated game but damn...I was looking forward to this game. I am still holding out hope though and tbh I don't envision myself playing too much of online vs non-PS5 players so hopefully gameplay will be built off 2021 Season Update which I like.

Re: Konami Clarifies Some eFootball Rumors, Confirms Option Files Will Still Exist

I do find the lack of solid dates and details for Master League worrying considering its a marquee mode (and pretty much the only mode I play).

All I wanted from this game was next gen graphics, tweaks to gameplay and overhauled offline modes and it doesn't look like this game will provide this.

Honestly, it's actually hilarious that they even released a trailer so bad they've had to clarify things. It was a 6 minute video!

I mean...a decent port of WE9 or PES2009 would suffice at this point.
