Save the Date- Well the best thing I can say about it is that Lizzy Caplan and Alison Brie are in it. And that's the only thing I'm gonna say about it.

Django Unchained

2 hours of excellence, brilliance and utterly superb performances in one of the best movies I've ever seen. Unfortunately the movie is about 2 hours and 42 minutes. Got dang at the huge dive this takes. Had hope for redemption for about 5 seconds then remembered...

Spoiler

First 2 hours = 10/10 (11/10 for Waltz.)
Last 42 minutes = 2/10

About the 2 hour 10 minute mark the screen goes black. Turn it off right there.

My thoughts exactly. I couldn't wait for the movie to end after that point.

I know what you mean, and kind of felt the same thing in theaters. Thinking of picking this up, but haven't watched Inglourious Basterds since the first time I watched it after purchasing it. I would assume this one would get more rewatches... if there wasn't that last half hour.

As much as I enjoyed Django Unchained in the theaters I'm hesitant about picking it up or watching it again.

Mulan - I feel like this is one of the more underrated Disney films with Mulan being one of the better developed lead characters in their animated features. Still as great as I remember.

Watched Django one and a half times yesterday. Movie is awesome. End doesn't drag for me at all - I would've been pissed if it had ended at that first fade to black moment.

Will be buying it on BR as soon as I head to a store for my next round of pick-ups.

I'm not saying the story wasn't worth watching or having the rest of the way through, but it got slightly exhausting (which can mean a good thing, btw)... or rather anticlimatic like it wanted to build in a new segment. It's like most people's problems with The Dark Knight; they built in maybe one too many tirades for The Joker at the end.

I could see why some people would think that. But for me, there wasn't a thing I didn't like about Django so I was definitely happy with how long it was.
