I don't know how old this promo was (I think it's the same one I saw back awhile ago) but it could be because it was during the AMC/Mad Men dispute and they didn't want to put it in there and then lose the show to another station.

Could be. This is a fairly old preview. I started a thread about it 2 and half months ago....

I'll watch anything that AMC puts out there. They are right there with HBO for me.

The series is set just after the Civil War and deals a lot with the building of the First Transcontinental Railroad (1863-1869).
