I wish someone better would step up into the Instant streaming world, with similar rates. If there is, someone please enlighten me.
It's not Netflix's fault. The studios are charging way to much for the content.

The TV executives just don't get it as a whole. They want an *** load for it to be on Netflix, then do stupid crap like making you wait 8 days to watch the newest episode online(fox).

----

Parks and Rec for anyone looking for a half hour sitcom. Absolute greatness. Ron Swanson is easily the best comedy character on TV right now.

Breaking bad is just amazing, greatest show i have ever watched.

Walking Dead is a pretty good show as well.
Agreed on Prison Break. Season 1 is the best, but 2 was interesting. 3 was kind of sketchy, but still decent. I felt like it picked up some in 4, but nothing could surpass season 1.

The british version of Shameless is on instants now.

Watched the first episode and was stunned how our American version followed the exact same script to every last detail.

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix

My wife and I just completed season 4 of Sons of Anarchy. Watched the first 3 seasons on Amazon Prime, then bought the final season, well worth it. That show never slows down. Shows like SOA, Mad Men, The Walking Dead have driven me to be such a picky watcher of TV. I can't watch mindless sitcoms (except Big Bang) or the endless array of cop mysteries. I need to give a look at some of these recommendations.

The Roku is our little gem. One device that allows access to Prime, Huluplus, Netflix, HBOgo, MLBtv later on...I don't know why we keep satellite. If I could find a way to watch NFL I would drop it.

Well I tried to search for a thread for the Jake Gyllenhaal movie" End of Watch" ... no such thread, but since I watched it on Netflix guess I could resurrect this thread to suggest that everyone check out this movie, I thought it was very well done.
