I feel like it was the other black guy. I'm not sure what his name is.

Honestly, I don't understand that scene.. Rick only took the walkers a couple hundred yards away from the fence, and another part of the fence looks like it's going to fall now too. The pigs won't distract them for long. I understand they think the pigs are what made people sick, but I feel like there could've been a better use of them to protect their camp.

It seemed like a very weak band-aid solution and was just something to highlight Rick's continued struggle with surviving vs. maintaining his humanity (that part was well done, and well acted, I thought).
I felt the same way but I guess they were gonna sacrifice the pigs anyway so he bought them some time with quick thinking. Either way those pigs would be slaughtered.

I agree with Leon. The pigs being cut and sacrificed made me more sad than when humans on the show die.

Maybe I like animals more than people. Lol

What made me sad was just thinking "All that bacon going to waste."

And you gotta think that finding livestock at this point in the game is like winning the lottery. Those pigs were better than gold.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)

Rick rather waste the bacon supply than pick up a weapon though?

And what happened to everything they did for the last 5 years to distract walkers? Like put the truck radio on blast and drive it away to lure the walkers away?

Mere noise isn't going to draw them away when there's food right in front of them.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)

That episode was awesome, so much better then the season opener. More action as the first episode was just setting this up.

I think the burner is Herschel. I feel like, even though Rick is in charge, when Herschel feels strongly on something he speaks up and they give in to what he wants. Having lost his leg due to a bite, I feel like he didn't want anyone else falling to a similar date. And said F this, I'm taking care of these people real quick. However, I think there was a twist when he or whoever "exterminated" those with the sickness. It wasn't as easy as kill em and burn em. Something else happened there, what I don't know, but there had to be a struggle.

Then again, it could be a rogue. The original group doesn't usually do it's own thing.
