Re: The Good Doctor (ABC)
"Sorry, Not Sorry" was a moving episode. One of the cases was emotionally powerful and Shaun has a very heartfelt growth moment in it.
This show suffers from many things, like too many patient stories, shipping everybody, forcing wokeness, some mediocre side characters (or giving them plotlines at least), and being "too ABC" in tone. But the things that it gets right are why I stay. Murphy and Glassman are right, Lea works in small doses, Morgan is excellent, Park and Andrews are good for medical/workplace scenes, and some serialized throughlines can get you to binge episodes if interested.
However, without the pathos core that episodes like this brought, many episodes can just come and go and keep the show from being anything near excellent as an overall.
