Re: 2k is back guys OMG!!!!!!!!

i wonder if they are gonna go the Mature route like blitz or just a variation on the NFL or what. I hope they capitalize on not having the nfl license with late hits, ambulaces on field, suspensions of players, etc. Imagine instead of having career ending injuries in extremely rare cases a player could die. Im talking like once every 10 seasons for the entire league. Imagine blitizing a rising young stud qb with your LT like linebacker, hitting the qb hard from behind and he lands awkwardly on his neck, all in next gen high def graphics. The medics rush the field. When you look at his condition later on it says "death." What if the team then wears his number on their helmets or renames the stadium after him, meanwhile you have that horrible hit replay saved to your harddrive for you to play over and over again. Hahahahah im sadistic but cummon you know that would be cool. If anyone can do it 2k sports can!

Re: 2k is back guys OMG!!!!!!!!

I posted a thread in here about 2K Legends a few months ago..well someone "just" told me that in the latest EGM magazine that it says 2K sports will unveil 2K Legends at X05 with football legends like Terry Bradshaw,Walter Payton,Joe Montana, etc, etc in the game.

Now the BIG question is, will this game allow for full customizations to re-create present NFL season play? Thats something we'll know soon enough i suppose.

Im sure more info will be leaked in the coming days

Edit: Here was that 2k Legends thread i posted months back
Its not over yet: 2k Legends

No their not..thats why i believe 2Ksports opted this route. I think just a Legends game would be great anyways imho but a beefy editing engine would be icing on the cake if you ask me.

Also about NFL PA, correct me if im wrong but if you play old school football teams in madden, etc you dont see the actual player names but just their numbers because they are not covered under the NPA

But what if it's totally custamizable like Winning Eleven 8? In that game you could create any logo of a Club team that you wanted Edit any player you wanted. The only problem may be stadiums, but I don't really give rats *** about that. 2ksports could really get something special rolling here. And I don't even want to think about FL 2k6 graphics on Next-Gen. Already NFL 2k5 isn't that far behind Madden 360 in terms of graphics. That would truly be amazing to see.
don't you think that will be just to much to edit, IMO it will be a lot to edit.
