Those ratings are a tad too high because they are just rookies.

This is a very unique draft, possibly one of the best ever for every position. You have to consider that there is more talent than last year so I would simply add 5 points more to the top 15 picks and 3 to the rest of the first round. Second round should have 2 points more to them. Add anothe 1 point extra for the 3rd rounders. This is the deepest draft for every position.

When I create rookies, no one is rated higher then 82. Anything higher is overrated considering that none of these players have proved anything yet.

In my 2k6 roster, I have 49ers QB Alex Smith rated 82 because he was the first QB drafted and the number one overall draft pick. Of course, he'll be decreased when I create my 2k7 roster.

As for top 10 draft picks -

1) Bush - 82
2) Leinart - 82
3) Young - 82
4) Williams - 82
5) Ferguson - 82
6) Davis - 82
7) Ngata - 82
8) Huff - 82
9) Hawk - 82
10) Cutler - 80

I have my own setup that I use for creating rookies. It depends on the round they were drafted.

1 - 82, 80 or 77
2 - 77 or 75
3 - 72 or 70
4 - 68 or 65
5 - 62 or 60
6 - 58 or 55
7 - 52 or 50

Last year, I started at 60 instead of 50 which was a mistake. I would even go below 50 depending on how many draft picks the team has.
