Why NFL 2k5 was special!!!

In game saves.

Still a pet peeve of mine when it's left out of sports games.

Madden had it in previous versions, then left it out of next gen.. MLB2k7 has it now. Something that should be in every sports game.

With all consoles having HD's now, it's a shame it's not in more games.

Agreed. 2k5 as I have said before was hands down my favorite football game ever, (well that and FPS Football Pro). And easily in my top 2 or 3 sports games of all time. I can only imagnie what 2k6 would have been like.

The worst is NCAA, imo. It's kinda understandable because the game has to save so much data, but at least give us a simulate to end function when we are playing against creampuffs.

It was said by Anthony Chau in an interview that it's because of programming issues that they don't want to invest in making it BC. He went out of his way to say it had nothing ot do with the NFL-EA deal.

Programming? Well who the hell programmed FEVER to be BC? The team that created the game no longer exists and were dismantled well before the NFL deal.

Hey, I'm just paraphrasing what the guy said. You can look it up if you do a search with "Anthony Chau interview".

As far as Fever, I see 2 possibilities:

1-I read somewhere that in some cases games become BC "by accident", meaning someone codes some emulation to get a specific game to work and some other games also work with that emulation.

2-Just because the Fever team doesn't exist anymore doesn't mean no one can code the emulator for the game. MS still owns the game's code and might have decided to have its BC team work on the XSN titles.
