Hmmmm...funny how I never tried the faster setting myself. I think I DID in APF, but went back to normal.

I'll have to try a quick game with a custom roster and see how it performs.

I tried it on fastest setting last night and I kinda liked it! Adds a bit of the panic factor during passing plays and makes you have to choose your holes quickly and decisively on the running plays.

The motion guys run a little too fast, but otherwise it seems pretty cool.

On a semi-serious note....I recently tried this with my roster and scaled down the speed a bit. 9 min. qtrs is way too long.....might be time to go to 7.

I play w/ 7 min quarters and surprisingly get pretty realistic results/stats.

Ya, the main thing I was trying to get was standard total number of plays for both teams in an average game (around 125...give or take 5). But, I think I'm going to abandon that.

If I recall correctly, in a recent game, I had 21-23 passing plays and 25-30 running plays.

Ya....this is working out well. It's better game feel than on normal speed and with 8 minute qtrs., # of plays is very acceptable with scores staying in the low 20's at times. In fact just had my Eagles/Jets game @ 13-13 going into the 4th qtr. and ended up 22-20.
