It's funny. My kid bought Madden this year and when that phrase gets uttered, he gives the dog tilted head confused to the side reaction.

You can't sue them for saying this..... they would simply fall back on the defense that it's a literal statement, not some cutesy play on words.

Re: The Little Things...

I like how you see real players that are on the team on the sideline

as oppose to madden where you have generic players on the side line

Re: The Little Things...

This was really funny.......the coach was talking strategy to two players on the bench------the backup QB and the punter.....as noted by their jersey numbers!

Re: The Little Things...

I was playing as the 49ers against the Rams, and Adam Archuleta hit my receiver and forced a rumble, which the Rams recovered.

Then Mike Martz challenged the ruling, it was overturned as an incompletion, and I got the ball back.

WTF?

Probably just one of those "once in awhile" flukes. But yeah, why would he challenge a call that went for his team?

Heh. I was a 49er fan from the age of 6 til two years ago, then I switched my allegiance to the Vikings, so I could possibly see some games once and a while (I live in northern Iowa), and I've always supported them as a 2nd to the Niners. But yeah, the Niners were the team I used all the time in my first go-round with NFL 2K5 (2004-06ish).

At least I didn't switch to a team because they were on a hot streak. I know too many USC/New England fans that have definitely not been fans for long :P
