I haven't come across them. I did pick up a few names that I missed but nothing important. Hopefully I'll be done before opening kickoff.

Hopefully, doubles are in there somewhere. Not hearing Patrick Crayton or Jason David is kind of crappy. What were the few names that you missed? Can you post them?

And thanks for looking through all the UNK's again. It's greatly appreciated especially since I know it's a huge pain in the ***. I gave up after I found five or so. LOL.

I'm using version .30 of FINN's editor because it has the default index files. I dont want to use the updated list because im not going to remember all the extra names and/or photos that Slapnutz and others found.

I know that the PBP is visible in the player grid but im checking all the PBP names IN - GAME to verify which ones work and which ones dont. The editor may have it listed like Crayton, David, Spencer, etc. but as we know, the names arent said in-game.

Casey Bramlet, Jim Sorgi, Drew Henson, Quinn Gray and Andy Hall dont have their full name said in-game despite it being listed. I can use Gray and Hall but the other three just have their jersey numbers called. Plus, those who dont have their full name PBP also have their photo's deleted as well unless of course, there's an actual photo like Quinn Gray.

I'm no where near done. I'll post the new names when I'm finished, they're really nothing special.

Nice job with what you are doing. I would love to check every single pbp to see which ones don't work.

Yep, I realized a while ago that seeing the name in the editor and it actually being said in-game are two different things which is why im checking every single one. When im done, I'll be able to post a PBP/Photo index files in which every name listed actually works in-game.

I know about Hicks. I did QB, RB and FB. I wanted to start WR's this week but im working six days and probably wont have them done for at least another week or so. I'm hoping to have my 2K5 (2004) roster and franchise files done by the end of July with 2K6 and 2K7 to follow.

Add 49ers FB Jasen Isom as well which sucks since he's in 2K3. Players who dont have a full name PBP get deleted from the index files including Photos if they dont have any. For example, QB Jim Sorgi will have #12 as his PBP and "no photo" listed for his pic. Hicks for example will have "Hicks" as his PBP but his photo will remain intact since it actually appears in-game.

I'm guessing that there's about 2000 or so names listed in the index files. I also check the last names as well. For example, Rams had a FB named Erik Jensen. His PBP wasnt said but there was just a last name listed. I verified it and luckily, the last name will be said. Basically, he has "Jensen" as his PBP.

The QB list that I posted is what the roster will look like for that position plus it has all the info I need.

Here's another thing - when im finally done and switch over to FINN's current editor, I'll be going through every player's DOB and College. Plus, I also make sure that the helmet/face mask matches up. For example, the Standard helmet is perfect for face masks 1-15 while the Revolution helmet is perfect for face masks 16-27. The reason I like both to match is that if you use a mouthpiece or visor (face shield), it doesnt look right and that bugs me.

Hell, everything bugs me. LOL.

Thanks again. Not hearing the PBP said in-game yet having it listed bugs me. It started with Shawntae Spencer, continued with Jason David but really pissed me off with Patrick Crayton because I like playing with Dallas because of T.O. but I use Crayton and to keep hearing #84 every time was driving me nuts.

That's when I decided to verify every PBP in the default index files. When done, I'll just add in all the ones that you found.
