Is there a way to deselect teams in an updated franchise? I really have no interest in controlling all of the teams in an updated franchise and doing all of their signings, trades, depth chart, etc. I'd like to just control one.

You need Finn's editor for that. Once you have it, it's easy. Load the file in the editor (it's like Excel, if you've never used it) and right click on the icon that says "user" by the team photo (next to the team name) and a menu pops up. You can delsect being the user or if you go to the team you want to run, you can select "Control this team only". That will do it.

Also, another thing, every game I play the highest amount any one player gets in tackles is 3 to 5 tackles a game. While the other teams gets players with 8 to 10 tackles a game. And I checked the season stats, and the highest any one player has in tackles is 15, while every other teams has players with 20, 30, or 40 tackles so far. And I'm only five games into the season. Any gameplay change that allows for CPU teams to have longer drives so my players can rack up more tackles? I am currently using Bill's sliders.

If not, that's ok, it's not a game or immersion breaker for me.

It's probably been mentioned already in this thread but the Microsoft transfer cable doesn't see a partition 3 on the 120gb HD. There's a partition 2 but it had none of the xbox1 stuff in there although I played and saved xbox1 games.

I tried the 20gb drive and that worked like the instructions said.

ps: I got the cable by calling MS last week. They charged me $11 because I told them I got a used 120gb HD though

What do i till MS so i can get a cable for free? That i bought a bigger HD? Do i have to have proof?

I having trouble w/the last step. For some reason I can't move the game saves to my HDD any idea what I'm doing wrong? When I drag the files over the the HDD nothing happens.

Never mind. On vista you have to turn off User Account Control. Wow this game is amazing w/new rosters.

is this method more likely to cause freezing with rosters? I know alot of original xbox games have problems on the 360 to begin with
