I miss 2k NFL

I really miss the 2k football games. Ever since EA got the rights and left 2k out in the cold, gamers everywhere suffered for it. 2k was and is a hands down better game then Madden. It looked better, it played better, it was even more realistic! I want it back. Here is a message to you geeks at EA. Grow a pair, get a back bone and move over and let the real pro develope a great game for all. Madden is a tired replacement. Does anyone out there feel the same?

EA has put out a couple of great next-gen games: FIFA and the NHL series. So they have grown a pair. Anything more and it would be freakish.

But yeah, NFL 2K next-gen would be an automatic purchase, no questions asked. So would a 2K football game with all of 2K5's customization options, but 2K/VC doesn't seem interested, sigh.

I just hope that the contract with EA and the NFL ends at some point, I think it's 2012. Then 2k football can come back and challenge Madden.

I really enjoyed the competition from both sides of Madden and 2k back in 2004. Both companies were pushing creativity to the max.
