Sorry about the delete, I posted back what I originally said along with what else I have come up with since then through my continued testing. I will explain the reasoning on some of those sliders later if anyone has any questions, cause yes, one click can make a huge difference, but I have to go for now as the Cavs/Magic game is about to come on and don't want to miss any of it.

Well, i'm using puja's roster during this, but I believe my settings will pretty much work with any roster. If not then i'm sure just a very few clicks here and there would fix what needs fixing. I believe the main thing is to have Penalties at Default, Performance EQ off, CPU sliders very high, and Human sliders pretty low.

I'm starting to think where you have your gameplay sliders also plays into the occurence of some penalties. For example if you have a high blocking slider, players will rarely be out of position to the point they will commit penalties like holding or clipping even if you have them maxed. Also a high coverage slider may impact the amount of times you see defensive holding or pass int calls. I need to do more research into this. Feel free to test this out and post your findings as I will do the same.

I remember when I used to mess around with this game it didn't seem to matter what I tried or what settings I used...the CPU QBs are just terrible in this game. Completion % is always too low, and interceptions are always too high.

This is one of those games I wanted to love so badly, but it was just half broken.

Try this. Posted by baa in another thread.

Use Finn's editor and bump up CPU QBs' Accuracy and Consistency ratings to between 100 and 127. The CPU will regularily complete up to 75% of its passes after that. Arm Strength also comes into play when it comes to completion % -- just something to keep in mind

Re: Changed penalty sliders and it made a big difference in the GAMEPLAY.

I REALLY like these roster settings they are awsome but i put the defense sliders both up for the human and cpu and i am going to try it out ... this is a great slider but i just had a game in the 60's and i was like 42 and i lost ... i played the ny gaints and i was the bears and i am in my 2 end year of franchise and i was just getting horrible results from both of the defenses so i am going to check my tweaks and see if they make better game play ... okay and i think that the game play is great but the qb's were just going bonzi on the D so i dont know but it is a bit to much of an offensive type of slider ....
