Awsome read on ESPN, gives it a 10/10!
kudos to redzone.
I just got, my hands on the HEADTO HEAD article and pulled out the nuts and bolts. PSM scores ESPN FOOTBALL a 9.0 !! and says the only thing seperating the two is the depth, of MADDENS new franchise mode.
Hardcore football fans will love ESPN'S solid design, first person gameplay, and intutive franchise mode. As far as the rest of the game goes, Sega is still on top of the SIMULATION WORLD!! and still provides a quality alternative to Madden. The game-play is top notch, the AI is better the MADDEN'S!! the online play is seamless and the playcalling menu has been redesigned to feel more comfortable for Madden fans.As always, Sega's Gridiron title plays GREAT!! on the field.
As usual, Sega's graphics and commentary are without peer. The player faces are scary real in some situations the camera cutaway moments to the sideline and stands are fantastic. More ESPN content has been added into the game and the franchise mode is inching closer to the cable sports network's actual broadcast.
The new control system shows when you've powered up your character and ready to break into a special move. This is done in a realistic fashion and you have to use strategy on every play. Do you tap the speed burst button for extra quickness or do you hold it down for the big move? It's a superb bit of strategy that makes this game shine.
As I finished this article and sifted through all the BS!! this was the final sentence that summed it all up.
AND FOR HARDCORE FANS SIMPLY LOOKING FOR THE MOST REALISTIC REPRESENTATION OF FOOTBALL, ESPN IS THE BETTER CHOICE!! 10.0!!
REDZONERDFL IM OUT!!
