Then why'd you mention Joe Montana football.

And please cut this "I'm a Sega fan" crap. It's obvious you are a Madden [censored you naughty boy] here to call trouble. Sega fans, or just un biased football fans wouldn't complain about Sega copying things Madden did.

I have owned both copies for the previous two years. I love the way VC pushes EA, comp is good for us the consumers. Its just when guys think that if you dont like ESPN then you dont know football. And Joe montana did have FPM. Im just very dissapointed with what ESPN has done this year.

Ok, before tempers flare any more than they already have, read his post above and consider the source here. His platform of Sega copying everything is blown apart when someone pointed out Madden wasn't the first to have some of its features, and his comeback makes no sense what so ever. That's correct, we are talking about Madden and Sega, but pointing out the obvious wasn't his point. His point was how Madden copied features as well. But feel free to misinterpret this post as well. We're counting on you.

But I thought we're just talking about Madden and ESPN. That's what you said before.

Re: Sega fan here watched Madden thing on MTV and...

ok lets see. FPF vs. Owner mode. Owner mode is a bunch of

numbers with little pictures next to it. and FPF is a whole

new mode. Owner mode could have been made in basic where

as FPF had to be made in C++ or another high end program.

why do u think that this sort of owner mode thing has been

done 10 years ago in Front office football. so i ask which

is harder to program? a bunch of numbers OR a whole other

game. Just think while SEGA programed 2 game this year

with other extras, Madden added 2 more animations, made a

number program and took madden 2003 and added a new

interface. there is no way u can think owner mode was hard

to make. its all addin and probability. all stuff already

figured out and typed in. Not hard for programmers. O and

playmaker... another way to make u unstoppable on offense.

could that be possible in madden? i didn think so but now

there is.

Oh, and before I'm rude and forget, while we're having fun "decorating our cribs", you be sure to have fun flipping through your collector's album of Madden cards. I hear you can trade them with your pals! I especially like the one that makes people fumble. A lot. That one alone is worth the $50.

Delta, a bunch of numbers with pics? Ok lets take into consideration the number of asst coaches added, then the option to create a new stadium, then to relocate that team.
That sounds like a different game to me. Not to mention the ins and outs of running your franchise year to year.
