ESPN get on the ball !!!!!

I just want to tell the people that run ESPN,VC that this week I walked in to several EBgames and Gamestop stores.People were coming in reserving NCAA and Madden.There was no talk about ESPN,I even asked several workers about the reserves and most stores would tell me that they have 60 to 100 reserves of Madden and 2 to 3 of ESPN.I think your losing the war early because you guys don't send posters and boxes of the game early enough.I try to preach to the people in the stores by talking them about ESPN and even telling them to go on sites like nfl2kx,operationsports,espnvid eogames.com.I will always do my part but you guys need to step it up or espn is going to get killed again in sales.

Why are you going to several gamestops and eb stores? For what it's worth, the gamestop I frequent, one of the employees loves ESPN, he also will tell customers that he prefers ESPN over Madden and why.

I guess I post this thread not for us hardcore fans because we are going to run to get ESPN but for the promoting team that runs ESPN.There is a lot of excitement about this game on the forums but when you go out to talk to casual football gamers in the real world this game is the last thought on there minds.Casual gamers don't know crab about ESPN.You may ask why so much concern with sales, well more sales =, more employees,better inovations,better games in the future.Just ask NFL fever they only had 27 employees making there game.

You're absolutely right on!!!

THe reason it's important for us to have ESPN to sell a lot is for it to come back again for next year. Not saying that we actually have direct power to make people buy it, but somehow someway SEGA's got to get their product on people's mind. MAInly because it's a great product...and in my humble opinion, better than EA's.

if they stop making the espn games oh well ea sports isnt that bad .Im sure every one on this board over 20yrs old has owned madden football at least 4 times. I have bought it till the 2kseries came out . as long as i have a some what of a realistic football game im happy. remember it will never be perfect its a game.
