Go to your state government website. As an example:www.florida.gov Obviously you'll want to replace Florida with your state. Search around that site and you should be able to find it under a heading like citizen services/online services or something similar. Add your number then register and you're good to go for 5 year. You can register your cell as well if you have one..

Actually I think the do not call list won't work if you have recently done business with the company calling you. I think there is like a 5 month period or something they can call without restriction since you were their client and dealt with them before.
