I'm interested in playing single current-year seasons using up-to-date rosters without the CPU making goofy trades. I also want realistic stats. Is this possible with this game?

Yes, set all the teams to Human Control and you won't have any trades. That way you can also make any changes that happen in the real NFL after you start your ESPN season.


p.s. there is no "single season" mode, you just have to play franchise mode for your season.

Cool. So, I need to have all teams human controlled in Franchise Mode and then I can make trades releases as they happen? That sounds good. What about the stats? Are they realistic?

yes, you can make the trades etc. when they happen if you have all teams human controlled. You could play whate ever game you wanted to every week if you didn't want to control one team the whole way. Stats are pretty realistic but not perfect.

I suggest you read all of the issues before you buy this game. We don't wanna see you a couple of days later with the same issues that were already reported.
