For some reason my defense doesn't seem to want to pick off a pass that is tipped. They haven't done it yet anyway. Oh well, I'm too crazy with the joystick to try and do it myself, I just mess it up even more.

yea i switch men on defense most of the time , the only time that i will not switch , is if something odd happens , or if i can just make a play by running all the way with the guy i had control of ...

I am the same way many people here are about controlling except I hate to see my computer mess up in alone 1on1 pass defense.. , I know there is error built in to make it like real football , but i feel like i have a fighters chance if i have control. I am pretty safe that i can lay a hit on the receiver w/out missing him.

I think it is pretty cool that you can defend a pass w/out switching and this game offers a lot of different methods to be successful...

I switch if I feel I can get the int. For some reason if you dont get it they computer is faster that you even if your player is rated faster so good luck. I just can't sit and let my players do it. I want to make the big hit or the int. Too many times though switching to a db. I get burnt. So I just remind myself, thats what'd happen to the Vikes secondary anyhow.

if u hit a pass defend button , then the cpu controlled defenders will attempt to defend the pass even tho you haven't switched. It works best on Lobs
