Which difficulty setting is truest to the player ratings?

Several years ago, a Madden employee stated in an interview that the "Pro" setting was the setting that was truest to the ratings with no modifiers. In that setting slower guys don't catch faster ones and small defensive backs get bolled over by bigger running backs. The ratings really matter.

I have never heard any such statement from the ESPN people. Does anyone know if they have ever revealed which setting is truest to the ratings?

Can someone from this site contact them and ask them?

Madden NEVER has had realistic attributes. They're whole system is based on speed. Look at T.O. he is not fast yet he's one of the fastest players in that game. Speed is the only thing that has EVER mattered in Madden. And I would say Pro for ESPN seeing how the sliders are equal.

IMO its a mixture between Pro and All Pro for both the Human and CPU teams. People who play on strickly All Pro or even legend (w/o slider adjustments) do so for the challenge even though the CPU teams do somethings too well.

I would also say All Pro. Like many of you I want the most realistic football experience with players performing to their true attributes.

For me I'd say either Pro and All Pro everything about those levels seems to fit the gameplay right in sync with the ratings.

i would also say pro and all pro , but i think they are too easy.

pro- all pro have the speed ratings right

legend has better defensive a.i. and better preventing running qbs.

if i play on legend faster players too often get caught from behind on breakaways(although online i can still break a realistic amount). But on the flipside All pro is too easy for some things. thats where sliders come in.
