Re: Channging Defense

Denver is also incorporating the 3-4 in their defense, but is not likely to make it their base set at this point.

I don't know if you already know about the Chargers and the Dolphins, Green Bay is 4-3.

Yes, but if you don't set most things on manual (player), then the cpu will grab inactive FA's, like Ricky Williams, out of the pool, especially if a team loses a key RB during the year. So I would put everything on manual, save for depth chart changes, unless you want to go through every team whether you restart the franchise or not.

The inactive FAs aren't a problem if you edit their ratings. Guys like Ricky, Shannon Sharpe and recent retirees like Emmitt Smith should be zeroed out so the CPU won't take them. My two cents.

Can you hit Y at the controller select screen and change playbooks before the game starts like you can do in exhibition mode?

No doubt....but if you want to edit them in Finn's editor, I guess it wouldn't matter.

Re: Channging Defense

sure you can hit Y b4 the game, but im not going to be the ravens or the any other team that is changing their playbooks, so i hit the Y button and then back out anyway to go play my game, once i back out it goes back to the default playbook

Re: Changing Defense

I have done some playbooks and will post with roster. Pmogs u also did think of a special way also. That's what I've been using for 4-3 and 3-4 defenses.
