I was using your roster, not your franchise, by the way... I used your roster for a Franchise, so I now know what went wrong. Got my threads crossed, methinks, and assumed that this was the from-scratch file...sorry!

whoa mines up to date since superbowl weekend i do them on my own on ps2. now theres been aton of roster moves b.t.w wes welker is not worth wat the pats gave him cmon

The Pats gave him 5yrs/18.1M 10M guarunteed... I'd say he is worth 3.5M a year.

you misunderstood me... i have a file that's up-to-date, probably as much or more accurate than any other out there but there's just no point in posting it yet. 275+ players were released as FAs on Mar 2 (on top of all the cuts like Arrington, Henry, Porter, etc). so, many teams have below the 2k5 40-man cutoff if you consider only players who will actually be on rosters in september.

for example, how many of these jan12 signings will make the WAS final 53-man roster?

that was my reasoning for saying any clean-file post would just be an 06-07 deadline accurate version. it's pointless to release a transactions update. it just cannot be accurate right now.

anyway if anyone wants it here it is:

my last post of 06-07 rosters. all depth charts are just set w/o regard to injury (so LeVar Arrington is Giants starter, even LeCharles Bentley for the Browns).

I have tested this thru 10 franchise sims w/o any freezing, draft class import requirements, or funky stats appearing before the season starts.

file was created w/o using any in game CAPs, just overwriting. All DOB & PBP has been verified for players who were not in the default roster, so no more "Thomas Jones" for Pacman & no more reggie bush born in 1979 weirdness.

despite this technically being a fresh file, ive still gotta give huge credit to rickster, flipmo & that crew for the original community roster file-- because they created the appearance & base ratings for many of the 700+ new players that have arrived since 2K5 def roster. wouldve taken me 3 or 4x longer w/o the community file. so, thanks to them as always.

feel free to use this file as a base if you want to create your own 07-08 rosters & be certain they won't freeze, but if you end up posting it here or elsewhere as your own just please give me some credit.

WOw! I have a modded xbox (so no need for action) i bought the game last year for 3$ off of gamespot, and havin a blast with your rosters in franchise mode, however the guide on how to stop it from freezin forcuses on the action thingy only. So if i understand u correctly this updated roster u just posted doesnt need to be edited later to work. Correct?

Nice so the file is a franchise save or roster save. And if it is a franchise save, is it freeze-free?
