2015 Rate My Team Thread

10 team, standard scoring (except Pass TDs are 6). I drafted 8th.
Start: 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 D/ST, 1 K

Side Note: This league drafts a little differently. You have to draft a set number of each position (e.g. 2 QBs, 4 RBs, 5 WRs, 2 TEs, 2 D/ST, 2 K).

The Yahoo grading is a great idea, but unless you're in a 12 team (maybe 10) redraft league with all basic rules, the grades won't come out worth anything. Your team looks decent, but it's hard to rate in an 8 team league since everyone should be stacked.

In hindsight, the only mistake I made was drafting Ben over Rivers, I didn't realize Rivers was still there in the 5th. I also am of the thought that DMac will end up being the guy in Dallas, but thats just me.

The strength of your team is defn your receiving corps. You might want to dangle one of them in a trade and see if anyone bites.

If you wanted Rivers you probably could have waited until round 9 or so and drafted another RB in the 5th. I don't like your backfield other than Charles, but your recievers are top notch, maybe you could work a trade.

Na Rivers went later in same round I took Ben.

I just don't value HBs anymore. Too many injuries, platoons, and vultures. Unless you can get 2 elites, which at 4 in a snake is hard to do, better off getting WRs and hoping one of your sleeper HBs come around.

I actually think Ben's the better value, but losing Pouncey for most of the fantasy season could impact that. Either way, I'd say your biggest issue is at RB. Even if you don't value them, I would've loaded the bench up with the 2nd stringer types instead of doing it with WR when your starters are so strong there (could even say top 4 or 5 will be worth starting weekly for most of the season).

It's a good gamble with Freeman and McFadden, but it'd be a little safer if you had some others too. I'd drop Bailey and try to pick up another back. Maybe the rookie behind Stewart (name is escaping me), Matt Jones in WAS, Cunningham could have early season value, I think Polk will get some run in HOU. Of course, if there are better names out there that jump out, give them a run first but I'm guessing all the guys I names are available.
