Yeah that's about right, Brohm's definately round 2 and Hale's in about 4 or 5.

Brohm usually doesnt go past the Packers round 2 pick. Which i think is 24. Hale doesnt go before the 4th but can go undrafted as he did in mine

Week 3, @ San Diego

If things weren't going bad enough already, D'Brickashaw Ferguson is out 3-5 months with a ruptured spleen, and Kenyon Coleman is out 7-12 weeks with a strained hamstring. Ugh. In their places I sign Damien Woody and...Tony Bake! Yes, I'm gonna give him another chance. Up next I head to the 2-0 San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football. A win over them would be a huge lift for my team. Out for me are Ferguson and Coleman, and out for them is Lorenzo Neal.

So Kellen Clemens 1st pass was an INT, and Philips Rivers' 1st pass was a TD to Antonio Gates. Great way to start off a game. Down 7-0, we put together a great pass-only drive. At the 4 yard line, I called my first run play, and Thomas Jones fumbled the ball. I would finally get into the endzone after a 31 yard catch from Mario Mannignham, followed by a 7 yarder from Roydell Williams in the endzone. But the Chargers would have none of that, responding with a 4 play drive, with every play 24 yards or more (2 of them were runs... ), capped off with a 27 yard pass to Antonio Gates. 14-7 at the end of the 1st.

To start the 2nd quarter, Desean Jackson returned the kickoff for a TD, but I got a holding penalty. Luckily, for some reason tha AI declined it, and it was ruled a TD. Things continued to go in my favor as San Deigo fumbled at our 35 yard line, which was recovered by Darrelle Revis. This lead to a 13 yard Jerricho Cotchery TD. Alexis Serna would close out the 1st half with a 37 yard FG to make the score 24-14.

The 2nd half didn't start well for the Chargers. A clipping penalty would back them up on their own 19. After a dropped pass, Rivers threw it right into the hands of Craig Steltz, who gave us possession at the 18 yard line. But of course on the very next play, Thomas Jones fumbled. After a 41 yard pass to Legedu Naanee, Rivers threw another INT, this one to Kerry Rhodes. Sadly, I would have to punt, which led to a Nate Kaeding field goal. On the kickoff, Desean Jackson took yet another one to the house, his second of the day, which is a first for me. 31-17 at the end of the 3rd.

On my 1st drive of the 4th quarter, Alexis Serna missed a 21 yard field goal. A few plays later, LT ran 81 yards for a TD. Then after a punt, Rivers found Chris Chambers for 80 yards and a TD to tie the game with 3:46 left. We would end up crossing the 50 yard line, but Clemens would get sacked twice. On 3rd and 21, on a hail marry, Clemens found Jerricho Cotchery for 26 yard to put us on the 43 with 2:00 left. One play later, Mario Manningham caught an 11 yard pass to put us at the 32, in field goal range. After a 2 yard Ron Dayne run, Clemens was once again sacked at the 37, just outside of range. On 3rd and 15, Clemens found the hero of the game, Desean Jackson, for 21 yards and a 1st down at the 16. After a run from Tiki Kessler, we would let the clock run down to 2 seconds, and would try for the game winner at the 9 yard line. Ample field goal range.

Serna lined up, waiting for the ball. The pressure was on. The crowd in complete silence, awaiting the final play of regulation.

The snap was good.

The hold, steady.

Well it was definitely a nail-biter at the end. If it isn't god mode that kills me, its the amount of big plays I give up. No matter how great I build my defense, I can never stop opposing offenses. Maybe I'm just a bad playcaller. I dunno.

To be honest, I loved it. The AI has f'd me over so much in this game, I deserve a free TD everyone once in a while

Ive seen the AI accept many penalties that if declined would end in TDs

It's happened to me before. There's a good chance that when I just press B (or circle, depending on the system), the AI will make the wrong decision on a penalty.

Week 4, vs. Arizona

I face 1-2 Arizona this week. Leading the charge for them is journeyman QB Kurt Warner (82), a RB on his last legs in Edgerrin James (85), and one of the top receiving tandems in Larry Fitzgerald and Anqaun Boldin (87 and 86). Their offensive line isn't anything spectacular, led by rookie LT Chris Williams (87). Their defense is their main downfall, with little talent to help out stud safety Adrian Wilson (92). Their defensive line consists of ovrs of 73, 78, and 81. The linebackers are also mediocre with ovrs of 79, 81, 78, and their awful ROLB Brandon Johnson, with an ovr of a measly 69. As for their secondary, besides Wilson, they have ovrs of 81, 78, and 84. This should be a rout if I can get the run game going, but their offense is deadly, and my D is known for giving up huge plays. They have no one of interest out, and for me are D'Brickashaw, Kenyon Coleman, and Ed Hartwell.

Things start off bad for Arizona, as on Wanrer's first pass attempt, Craig Steltz makes a great INT, and New York sets upon the AZ 40. Running proved to be futile, but luckily, passing was on key, as Clemens quickly found Desean Jackson for a 19 yard TD. The Cardinals then put together a very annoying drive. Every time they'd get a 3rd and long, and every time, they'd convert. Luckily, my defense stepped it up in the redzone, and held them to a 36 yard field goal attempt, which Neil Rackers shanked. Clemens led his team downfield once again, and on the 1st play of the 2nd quarter, Alexis Serna knocked through a 19 field goal (better safe than sorry) to make the score 10-0.

After forcing a punt, Desean Jackson would pretty much take over the Arizona defense, catching consecutive passes of 32 and 29 yards on a drive capped off by a 5 yard Thomas Jones TD. Things kept getting worse for the Cardinals, as on the next drive, Edgerrin James fumbled the ball, which was recovered by Tony Bake. With a little over 6 minutes left in the half, I didn't have any intentions on giving the ball back. Luckily, my run game came through, and we were able to run out the clock, and finishing the half with a 21 yard Alexis Serna field goal. 20-0 at the half.

The 2nd half mainly consisted of me just running out the clock. Kellen Clemens actually ended up throwing an AWFUL interception, but Wanrer threw one of his own, as Darrelle Revis beasted Larry Fitzgerald in the endzone. Also, Thomas Jones got injured for the game...ugh. Then on the next drive, Clemens threw yet another awful INT, completely ruining my chances of my first ever shutout. As expected, God Mode raped my defense, and in 5 plays, Warner led the offense downfield, and capped off the drive with a 28 yard pass to Rob Hicks. But the Cardinals couldn't recover the onside kick, ending the game with a 20-7 Jets victory.

Well it was a good game overall. I'm sad that Clemens cost me my first shut out after he completely combusted in the 2nd half. But oh well, ya take the good with the bad.

I return tp the clipboard to find out that Thomas Jones is out 5-8 weeks with a triceps sprain. So I signed Samkon Gado as his replacement, alothough I'll probably start Xavier Omon.

I ended up resigining Michael Johnson to a 2 year 1M deal, and Abram Elam to a 2 year 660k deal. Neither gets any signing bonus.
