St. Louis (AP) -- Chicago Bears scored 21 points in the 2nd quarter of yesterday's game and that was all they needed. St. Louis Rams couldn't overcome the damage the damage done against them in that 2nd quarter. Though they scored 14 points in the 2nd quarter too, St. Louis only manage 6 points the rest of the game. "We had some costly turnovers,"Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo said of his quarterback's three interceptions thrown. "We didn't capitalize on their shortcomings. We'll have to reach the endzone frequently next time. That was the one thing they did better than us.
Both offenses were held to under 300 total yards of offense, and both quarterbacks didn't reach the 200 passing yards mark on the day.Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears quarterback, only had one turnover; while his counterpart, Marc Bulger, turned it over three different times. Matt Forte and Steven Jackson topped the century mark running the ball for Chicago and St. Louis respectively.
