Detroit Free Press -
The Detroit Lions have finished the 2009-2010 Season 5-11, winning 5 more games then last year's season. Although the Lions didn't make it to the playoffs and weren't great on Offense or Defense they have showed improvement and rookies such as Matthew Stafford, Brandon Pettigrew, Louis Delmas, DeAndre Levy, Aaron Brown, and Derrick Williams improved the team a lot and look to be the future of the Lions. With the 8th pick of the 2010 Draft the Lions look to pick up more youth in the form of maybe an Offense Linemen. The Off-Season will be a good time for the Lions to prepare for next year and hopefully improve their record even further. Next year is looking good to Lions' fans.

Steelers win Super Bowl 44 13-6!!

In a low-scoring Super Bowl against the Green Bay Packers the 14-2 Pittsburgh Steelers prevailed over the 11-5 Green Bay Packers. The excellent defense of the Steelers shut down the Packers allowing only 6 points off of 2 made Field Goals. This is the Steelers 7th Superbowl victory and their 2nd consecutive Super Bowl win.
