Arkansas State 1-2 @ Army 0-3
Spoiler

This was a nice win for me. Offense looked good and defense finally got it together. Defense had 4 sacks and 2 INT's, one being a pick six. "It felt great to finally get a W. I'm very proud of our team right now. Hopefully we can keep it goin. That was a great way to start conference play." said Coach Tenholder.

Army
Steelman 12-17 155 yards 5 rushes 28 yards
Mealy 26 rushes 109 yards 2 TD's

Arkansas State
Aplin 10-23 164 yards 2 INT's 10 rushes 9 yards
Lawson 12 rushes 80 yards 2 TD's

Up next is @ Mid Tennessee State

When I looked at your schedule I thought it would be an easy season, I was definitely wrong though. Tough 1-3 start man, hopefully you can get 5+ wins.

Tbh, I wasn't sure what to expect this season. I usually struggle early with new teams though. Btw, I played 5 games today so I have 2 to post. My internet wasn't working earlier so I couldn't post 'em. The updates will be coming more slowly until the weekend again due to school and football. Also, just wait till you hear the Mid Tennessee State update.

Still open to suggestions. Anybody at all?

I'm kinda that way as well so I kinda understand how you feel. I can't wait to see your next to games.

I do have one suggestion, maybe instead of just doing the score and 2 top performers for each team, try doing a few player stats for each position.

Re: The Building of a Dynasty - Army Style

Army 1-3 @ Mid Tennessee State 2-2
Spoiler

This was a really good game. Going into the 4th quarter I was down 23-7. I wasn't doing that great and I didn't think I had any chance at winning. Then, I'm able to score on a 1 yard TD run with 1:40 left and I made the 2 point conversion. The score was now 23-15. I'm able to make them go three and out. Under a minute left. I go down and score on a Trent Steelman 4 yard TD run with 31 seconds left. 23-21 MTSU. I have to go for two and...I make it! 23-23! I stop them, overtime. I get ball first and make a 39 yard FG. They throw a pass in the end zone, my guy has perfect position so I tried to switch to him to pick it. It switched to a different guy so my guy just batted the ball down. Next play, 25 yard TD run off an option, game over . 29-26 MTSU. I'm now 1-4. "That was a heart-breaking loss," said Coach Tenholder.

Army
Steelman 17-28 205 yards 1 INT 7 rushes 35 yards 1 TD
Mealy 24 rushes 82 yards 1 TD 1 catch -12 yards

Tully 8 catches 118 yards
Allen 4 catches 54 yards
Rodriguez 8 tackles
Dixon 5 tackles
Hilton 3 sacks
Aaron 1 INT
Carlton 1-1 FG

MTSU
Kilgore 11-19 140 yards 1 TD 1 INT 8 rushes 13 yards
Kyles 11 rushes 70 yards 1 TD 3 catches 44 yards
Andrews 1 rush 46 yards 1 TD 1 catch 18 yards
Beyah 2 catches 23 yards 1 TD
Davis 13 tackles
Ikner 9 tackles
Kellem 1 INT

Thanks man. Glad you like it.

During my bye week, I got 3 commits. A 2* TE, a 1* ATH, and a 1* P. I now have 6 commits on the season. My class is #111 right now. I played the UL Lafayette game tonight so I'll post the recap tomorrow.
