We came out dominating from the beginning. By the end of 1, I was up 21-0. In the 2nd, I took a 28-0 lead and ended up leading 31-7 at half. Not much went on in the 2nd half, I scored in the 3rd and they scored in the 4th for a 38-14 final. "This was another nice win. We've now won 3 in a row and 4 out of our last 5. Trent Steelman's having a pretty good year for us which is big. We need to be able to run the ball a little better though." said Coach Tenholder

Not much happened in the 1st half. I was up 10-7 at the end of 1 and up 17-14 at half. Then in the 3rd, FIU scored 14 points and I didn't score at all so it was now 28-17 FIU. Guys were missing tackles all the time and I didn't have much blocking or anything. FIU scores with 5:50 left in the 4th on a 78 yard TD pass. 35-17 FIU. Then, I'm able to score basically right away (5:23 left) and I got the 2 point conversion to make it 35-25. I get a stop, go down and score again. 35-32 FIU with 3:23 left. I'm able to get a pick on the next drive and drive down the field to score on a TD run. 39-35 Army. Then, FIU throws a pass and 2 guys miss tackles, resulting in a 79 yard TD pass with 1:11 left. 42-39 FIU. I still have time left and 2 timeouts. Steelman would throw a pick though with under a minute left to end the game. I lost 42-39 . "We played pretty terrible. Pass defense, rush defense, tackling, blocking, basically everything was awful. I was happy to see our guys fight back and not give up though," said Coach Tenholder.

Yeah that loss is gonna kill me. I'd be pretty surprised if I beat South Carolina which will put me at 4-6. I'd probably be able to win the next 2, but 6-6 as a Sun Belt team leaves me with doubts about making a bowl game. I gotta upset South Carolina and win out.
