No Cam Newton spelt disaster for the #5 ranked Tigers as Markeith Summers had a career game and Jeremiah Masoli showed his maturity leading the Rebels (6-2) to this tremendous upset.

With the win and the new rankings, the #22 Rebels will stay home this week to take on the 4-4 ULL Ragin Cajuns.

Junior Half-Back Devin Thomas has been named the starter for the upcoming game with ULL. With Brandon Bolden out for atleast another 8 weeks, and Rodney Scott not stepping up, expect Thomas to get the bulk of the carries for the rest of the season.

Just 3 hours after being named the starter for the rest of the season, Devin Thomas was knocked out of the game and for the next 3 weeks with a shoulder sprain. In stepped Enrique Davis and the entire Ole Miss running game. Davis had over 250 yds of total offense and 3 tds. Up next for the #19 Rebels (7-2) is a date with Tennessee in yet another classic SEC showdown.
