You got a pretty solid opponent in Wisconsin in your bowl game. A win in that and maybe you will get a bid to a BCS conference?
Thanks! Yeah, Wisconsin will be tough, heck I struggled against Purdue earlier in the year so I'm not sure how my team will fare, but it will be interesting.

I'm not sure about getting an invite, but hey if I do win the bowl game and I do get an invite, there's no way I'm turning it down lol.

I normally have one bad Defensive play a game that is 40 or more yards.. But that is the only one.. I usually only have one offensive play that is 40 or more yards as well.
Yeah, it just seemed a little excessive with the big plays, but nonetheless it was exciting as the computer had a good number of big plays itself. The one 70 yard TD that I had, he was wide open over some DBs who had played a hard press, got caught up at the LOS and my guy broke free. When he caught it he had a good 10 yards on the closest defender.
Easily the most wide open play I've seen all year.

BTW, I'll probably get the bowl game in tomorrow, close out the year and finally get to creating your guys' recruits!

I was just going to ask you when the recruits might make an appearance.

Re: Welcome to the Glass Bowl - Toledo Rockets Dynasty(NCAA 11)

'We Got Clayed'
John Clay Runs All Over the Rocket Defense for 366 yards in Little Caesar's Bowl Victory
Detroit, MI - Toledo came back to Ford Field to play in the Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl. However, this time it would not be a pretty sight. Wisconsin star HB John Clay, after both teams had a quiet first quarter, would run up and down the field with scoring runs of 79 yards, 53 yards and 62 yards. He totaled 366 yards and those 3 TDs, also surpassing the single season rush record at Wisconsin, he ends the year with 2173 yards, the nation's leading rusher.
Toledo managed to get the first score of the game, but it all went downhill from there. The defensive line could not get through the very tough Badger o-line. QB Austin Dantin could not establish a rhythm and once again Toledo falls short against a Big 10 team as the Badgers won handily 37-7. Toledo finishes with a 10-4 record.
It was over when...John Clay touched the ball.
Key play:Clay's first TD run, broke three tackles and was pushed by his offensive lineman to get him into open space.(and yes, his lineman ACTUALLY PUSHED HIM THROUGH TACKLERS, it was really cool)
Key Non-Stats:Dantin 23/51, 258 yards, TD, INT. Adonis Thomas, 8 rushes, 10 yards. Toledo punted more times in the first quarter than Wisconsin did all game.
Coach Sutton post game:
"Part of me is proud we made it this far, part of me knows we could have done better. When you go up against the top rushing attack in the country, it's rough, but we thought we had prepared for it. Being that this is my first season at Toledo, I'm proud of what we have accomplished. Next year is a fresh start, see you all then."

Dantin throwing the only TD for Toledo to Tim Cortazzo

Clay breaking several tackles on his way to his first TD of the day

What I liked about this game was it felt like I was actually playing Wisconsin. Dominant offensive line, it seriously looked like John Clay running the ball. The outcome was pretty realistic, I think. Although not ideal, since I kind of wanted to win lol.

such a tough loss in the bowl game, but you really had an amazing season. John Clay is an animal, wow. I can't wait to see how the next season fairs. Who do you plan on scheduling? Anyone tough?
