The Lander University Bearcats beat up on the UTEP Miners enroute to a 24 point victory. The fans at EM Memorial Field on Lander's campus saw history made as Lander kicker Zach Amlin broke the all-time NCAA Field Goals record in a season by booting 4 field goals to give him 35 (record was 32) on the season.

Narrow Escape!!!
The Lander University Bearcats find a way to escape Columbia, SC with a win over South Carolina. The big surprise of this game was the fact that starting Lander QB, Ryan Johnson didn't have a single TD pass and turned the ball over 3 times (2 INTs and 1 Fumble). The other surprise, and the only way Lander was able to make it out of there with a win, was the fact that the defense showed up and was able to shut South Carolina out and take a 20-0 lead going into the half.

Every Second Needed!!!
The Lander University Bearcats outplay Syracuse in a wild overtime affair. With 50 seconds left, and no timeouts, Lander QB, Ryan Johnson, drove the team down the field and secured the tie with 2 seconds left after rushing 4 yards into the endzone. Lander and Syracuse would switch touchdowns in OT, than after Syracuse missed a FG, Zach Amlin for Lander knocked one through the posts to take home the 47-44 OT thriller.
